...well, not really...
LOL!
Greetings!
I thought I would post some photos of my creation process and progress on items I am preparing for the
BIG On Bloor 2009 festival.
The two main items I am creating for the festival are
1) magnets and
2) greeting cards.
Below are photos of my
1) wooden star magnets and
2) glass marble magnets.

Above are the wooden stars in their first stage - painted black and awaiting the creative flare of sparkles and sealer!

Above are the finished product: wooden stars, painted black, decorated with different kinds/colours of sparkles which are then glazed with
Podgy so they don't rub off. Magnets are attached to the back using E-6000 adhesive...it's fabulous and strong!

This photo above shows the mid-way process of creating the marble magnets. I have used adhesive (
Podgy) to glue my printed images to the flat side of the marble. After this, I would slice away the excess paper, apply more
Podgy to seal the paper, then stick the magnet to the back using E-6000 adhesive. I will post more photos of the finished product in a future blog post.
Below is a photo of the wooden light switch cover and the tiny wooden stars I created to decorate it. I have included this one of a kind item in my array of creations for the festival.

Check back later for photo progress of my greeting cards -
1) hand drawn and painted cards and
2) photos cards, using photos I took myself. Fantastic!
Enjoy and thanks for your interest,
Sara
